As predicted, cyan which is one of the primary subtractive colors of he spectrum will remain a lead color in RTW and leather goods for winter 17 and early SS18 collections.
This color chart blends in nicely with teal and metallic blues which has been seen in various street looks at NY, Paris and Milan fashion weeks.

The reintroduction of velvet into modern style is a very welcome one. Velvet offers a versatile and invaluable dimension to many outfits that would otherwise remain flat or uninteresting. We also love Gucci's velvet Marmont Bag in Cobalt Blue
Landed and settled back in New York for fashion week we let ourselves look for
different influences this time around. I have always been a great fan of Nick Knight and his art. Recently he released a photo selection with a variety of designers participating in a
shoot for V magazine.
While we work on our reports I wanted to share some of my favourite shots from the shoot here in at Milk studios in LA.
DENIM LOOKS OF SS16
We have just entered the new year and we are finally starting to see a new vision for spring 2015. There will always be a few obvious themes for the spring season such as pastels florals and most likely flowy fabrics and whites, but this time we would like to focus on those trends that are more likely to become hot further ahead in time (maybe even SS16).
I have always been a fan of a futuristic and very innovative look and for this spring we are seeing a very interesting iridescent and transperant element on the runway, in the accessory department and in jewelry.
The thought of wearing a plastic coat or a corset for a night out might not sound so appealing, although I believe that this trend will become a great outlet for us "taste makers" to express ourselves and have fun with eccentric fashion!
MONOCHROME WINTER AW14
Carine Roitfeld, one of the most sought-after high fashion editors and style advisors known to man had to be on this weeks “Style Stealer”. We are obviously huge fans of the former French Vogue editor for many reasons, however one of my favourite things about her is how certain she is of her own style.Almost in every front row photo or street snap she is in her signature pencil or fitted maxi/midi skirt and always in spectacular accessories. Never being short on anything in her closet, she has a natural skill of putting things together in a daring and provocative way that works incredibly well.
Carine also happens to be Tom Fords muse since he came out the doors of the prestigious “Parsons school of design” which she shares in her hectic but incredibly exciting reality-documentary film “Madmoiselle C” where he also makes an appearance in a photo shoot scene.
Carine is one of our top 5 style icons at Re.
